The British Science Festival 2016 will focus on an audience of non-specialist adults with a broad interest in science, delivering 100 events, specially curated by the BSA in partnership with Swansea University. World-leading academics from Swansea University and other institutions and organisations across the UK will present, discuss and debate cutting-edge science (across the scientific spectrum including technology, engineering and social sciences) at a range of different events, from talks to performances.Book your tickets here

Elevate is a conference for pupils, aimed at promoting STEM, and highlighting the diverse range of career opportunities that exist within the life science sector. Students aged 14-16 from across the region will be invited to attend
Why be a part of ELEVATE?
The conference is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of life scientists and will host a number of plenary sessions with exciting and innovative speakers driving change. In parallel, there will also be fun and engaging workshops for the younger generation to inform and inspire. The conference is linked to COLLABORATE 2016, which aims to bring together Health boards, Universities and Industry to share their collaborative working practices and to celebrate collaborative partnerships with a view to stimulate further interaction.

Collaborate 2016 is back and building on the success of last year’s event. The day is again dedicated to celebrating and promoting collaborative projects and partnerships across industry, academia, Government, health boards and other organisations.
Bringing together over 300 representatives from across the region and beyond, the event is hosted by the Swansea University Medical School’s Enterprise and Innovation Team, AHSC, ABM and Hywel Dda University Health Boards.
Alongside the event’s high profile speakers, there will also be a series of thematic workshops, tours of ILS facilities and opportunity for attendees to network for further collaboration.
